October wedding - Katta & Jim

Katta and Jim got married in October and even though they decided really fast which photo they wanted for their thank you card, it isn't until now they have made up their minds about the wedding album. Sometimes it's hard when you have so many photos to chose from! I think they have made a perfect selection and I want to show you what I am working with right now.

Don't you think Katta has a beautiful hair piece? She has excellent taste and at our pre booking consultation she saw my own wedding photos and asked where I had bought my tiara - in the end she borrowed mine for her wedding!

Fair at Nacka Factory

The wedding fair Alltombröllopsmässan at Nacka Factory this weekend was a great success and it was very inspiring to meet both couples that already have booked me for 2009, couples that have tried to book me just to find out I was already engaged their wedding day and couples that talked to me for the first time about their wedding plans.

My very talented photographer colleague Sandra at Birgersdotter and I had decided to have our show cases located next to each other and we got a lot of visitors!

The floral designer Fröken Knopp had made a very beautiful bouquet and a table decoration for us which got praised by many of our visitors! Many thanks Fröken Knopp!

These absolutely fabulous pieces of jewellery by Thomas Berg at Sörsand caught my eye instantly and I just had to ask if I could take a closer look! I think I need to talk to my husband about the necessity to buy his wife a to-die-for-gift at least once in a life time...!

The dresses below are designed by Nahrin at Milagro and I just love the collar! I wasn't familiar with this designer before the fair but I think she is worth some extra attention.

And finally, some photos from the champagne bar and the wedding fashion shows.

Boudoir shots on the beach!

I really don't have much to say about these photos because I am absolutely stunned about how this girl transformed from being asking a lot of questions about whether she dared to do it or not and asking if she could bring along a friend to the set, to a perfectly relaxed and gorgeous woman looking as if she had done nothing but working in front of the camera! Thanks a lot for allowing me to publish some of the photos here on my blog!

I shoot most boudoir sessions (UnderBara) indoors but these photos definately prove that going for an outdoor session could be terrific.

My own jeweller and my own wedding ring

Before christmas I visited the jeweller from which my husband and I bought our wedding rings and today I got an e-mail from him in which he congratulated me to my web site and my blog and wished me good luck with the up coming bridal fair at Nacka Factory which I will participate in this weekend.

When I and Teno got married in July 2005 we were particular interested in chosing an excellent wedding photographer (of course!) but we also were very fastidious about finding a high quality and service minded jeweller, and when we met Tom at Vasastans Guldsmedja we knew we had come to the right place. When I read the e-mail from Tom tonight I got inspired and thought I should take some detail shots of my own wedding ring which we designed ourself and had Tom and his colleagues made for us. Accordingly, I picked up my camera and my macro lens and started to experiment in the kitchen where we have spotlights. Also, I used a veeeery complicated and professional piece of equipment... ehh...or not... a small flashlight!

Preview - a beautiful girl and a sandy beach!

Yesterday I mentioned some photos of a different character than the portraits I showed you then and here is a sneak preview. These photos show how beautiful, sizzling and sensual yet tasty the result can be even if you - like this girl - never have stood in front of a camera before! I promise she (and her beloved) will get a private photo gallery to chose from which is really something to look forward to!

Virginia - portrait session in Uruguay

Earlier today I wrote I have been on vacation for three weeks, but vacation truly is a relative conception for me! A couple of days before I left Uruguay I did a portrait session with Virginia and as I know she is very eager to see some photos I show some of them here!

The portrait photos of Virginia wasn't the only ones I shoot during my stay and I hope I can show you some more photos from a photo shoot on the beach in a few days!

I'm back!

After three weeks with not a word from me I can give you a hint of what I have been doing recently... ehhh.... not much! Teno - my husband - and I have been in Uruguay since christmas and even though we were in Montevideo with his family most of the time we also spent some time at the east coast. Here are our view from Parque Oceánico in Coronilla where we stayed for a couple of nights! If you follow the link to the hotel's web site you can also hear the sound we woke up to each day...
