Soile - New album release today!

Do you like music and do you have any plans for January 28? If the answer of the first question is "Yes" and the second one is "No", then you have to check out Soile's new album and visit her release party at Underbara Bar, Östgötagatan 22, Stockholm!






Creativity has always been an important part of Soile's life. Her first piece of music was written at age five and refining her skills she went on to write hundreds of songs incorporating stories from her life as they happened. With her childhood dream of releasing an album all too often interrupted by the hardships of life, the dream now finally has come true. Combining an eclectic assortment of songs, the debut album was recorded in her and her husband's home studio. Now the dream is reality. Soile's “börja om” is here.

Winter wedding featured in Allt Om Bröllop

The wedding of one of "my" wedding couples is featured in the latest issue of Allt Om Bröllop, in stores now! Pernilla and Gustaf got married in February 2009 and had a great winter wedding at Sånga church, and the reception was held at Svartsjö slott. I always love to see my photos selected by this great wedding magazine!

Great opportunity for brides!

A couple of days ago I passed by CC store at Sturegallerian in Stockholm and saw (and bought :-)) these fantastic cream white shoes on sale (also in black)! The leather of these Italian designer shoes is super soft and - as an extra bonus - the heels make no sound at all. Despite the high heels they are actually also very comfortable so I think it would be the perfect choise for all fashion loving brides to be in 2010! Am I a bride to be? Oh, absolutely not, I am already married to the perfect man but I am addicted to shoes!

Wedding dresses from Zelini

A few weeks ago I got an e-mail from one of my former clients Josefine and she told me that she recently has opended a new store for custom made wedding dresses, titanium rings and other accessories! Today I passed by the store at Torsgatan 36 in Stockholm (close to S:t Eriksplan) and had to take a few photos to show you and tell you the news. The store is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 17.30-19.00 and Saturdays 11.00-16.00 and you can also visit the internet shop at www.zelini.se.

Soile

When she was five years old one of her neighbours was an old lady who lived in a big white house and she had a piano. Soile went over to her and asked if she could play the piano and the rest is history. Nowadays however, the guitar is her best friend (well almost, one shouldn't forget her husband Robin) and she is just about to release her first cd. I can't play any songs for you as they haven't been released yet, but I sure will later on! Her voice and her music are worth waiting for!

Jessica Claire and [b]ecker - Stockholm at night

Before Jessica Claire and [b]ecker left Stockholm after their seminars and great workshops in Stockholm this week me and my husband had the pleasure to take Jessica out on dinner at Grill on Wednesday night. We had a good time talking about photography, weddings, US versus Sweden and many other things and she really is easy to like! Afterwards we met with [b]ecker outside the casino where we took these photos in the neon light. Thanks for everything Jessica!

Fantastic workshop with Jessica Claire

Today I have had a very inspiring day at the Stockholm workshop with the amazing photographers Jessica Claire and Christopher Becker and a whole bunch of Swedish wedding photographer colleagues. Today was the Jessica day, and tomorrow morning I will be back to listen to Becker!

I am sure the photo blogs of my fellow participants will overflow with photos of the two gorgeus models who played the wedding couple of today, and here is my contribution!
