Wedding invitations

It is sooo nice to get wedding invitations from a bride and groom to be, because it really makes me feel like I am part of their day. So, when I opened my mail and found these invitions from Mina and Sumit I smiled. In a couple of weeks I will shoot their hindu wedding ceremony and civil wedding in Stockholm, and in June I will photograph them at Sardinia. I can't describe how much I look forward to both their wedding days!

Malin & Mathieu - A French Swedish Love Story

Do you want the recipe for a great wedding? Well, do just as Malin and Mathieu did! The ingredients are: family and friends from Sweden and France, a great hairdresser, a really cool place for the portraits and to stay (Hotell Hellsten), have rice mixed with lavender thrown at you after the ceremony, scented flowers in your hair and bouquet, pick a winter day when it's -10 degrees and snowing, choose a photographer equipped with tons of inspiration, have warm soup for the guests after the cold trip from the church and - I think this is a main ingredient :-) - talk your parents into dancing Thriller together with you in front of all other guests after dinner!

Malin's and Mathieu's wedding was quite a challenge because of almost six hour's of shooting indoors in practically no light, but at the same time I really enjoyed every minute because everything was perfect! Malin and Mathieu - you and your families are the BEST! I hope you looove the photos!

Last but not least, I want to say special thanks to my two angels of the day, Karolina Ehrenpil och Mattz Birath. They both assisted me during the day and Karolina and Mattz, you know how much I appreciate it!

In August 2009 one of my couples took this tradition to another level... they had their family and friends to throw candy wrapped in bright candy colours instead! Colour to inspire - Silver White

Although one may think that this isn't a real colour, silvery white is among my personal favourites. I love the cold tone and I have for instance always preferred silver and white gold before red gold jewellery. White is traditionally "the" colour for a wedding, and if you add silver details you will get a winning concept!
