Agnes dop!

För ovanlighetens skull skriver jag det här inlägget på svenska och det är för att den här gången känner jag ännu lite mer för personerna på bilderna och därför vill jag vara lite extra personlig! Vid det här "uppdraget" var jag nämligen inte där i egenskap av fotograf i första hand (även om jag naturligtvis tog den delen på allvar ändå :-)) utan det var mina vänner Madeleine och Claes som i går eftermiddag döpte sin underbart härliga dotter Agnes i Gusfaf Vasa kyrka! Tack för att jag fick vara med och jag önskar er och Agnes all lycka!

Time for bed!

I have had a busy day with two photo shoots, hours and hours of work in front of the computer and I have delivered thank you cards to two wedding couples and an album to one of my couples who got married in August. So, now I am really tired and I think I should do just as this little girl did today during the photo session... go get my teddybear... right now he sits in the sofa waiting for me and my late evening cup of tea!

Wedding with SmallpigArt

Anna Roström at SmallpigArt is a very good friend and she is also one of my favourite colleagues when it comes to wedding photography! About a month ago I assisted her at one of her weddings and I also acted as her second shoter. The bride and groom was simply gorgeous - just look at them, they look like perfect top models! Of course you can find Anna's great photos here on her blog! But don't you think Anna is even cuter than the wedding couple in her shaggy bright pink hat I gave to her that day so she will match her 70-200 lens during the winter weddings to come :-)! Anna, I love you darling!

Four frames of pure beauty

I spent my afternoon today with my cousin Araity and I couldn't refrain from taking some photos of her! For her it was a surprise (but not for me :-)!) and she wasn't prepared at all when I picked her up at the train station that she would be my guinea-pig for some test shots at a new location with beautiful natural light which I might use for an up coming job. But of course, you don't even need to prepare for a photo shoot when you look as gorgeous as she does! If you agree with me and think she is stunning, please leave a comment and say so (first she was reluctant to let me blog the photos because she wasn't sure she would look good enough, and obviously she is sooooo wrong!)!

A very rare photo... a photo of ME!

Usually I try very hard not to end up in front of the camera but after Medelia's and Joakim's wedding (see post below) I let my assistant Lena Welander play around with my camera. She is really, really talented and she actually got a photo of me I like! Good work Lena, you're the best!

Jessica Claire and [b]ecker - Stockholm at night

Before Jessica Claire and [b]ecker left Stockholm after their seminars and great workshops in Stockholm this week me and my husband had the pleasure to take Jessica out on dinner at Grill on Wednesday night. We had a good time talking about photography, weddings, US versus Sweden and many other things and she really is easy to like! Afterwards we met with [b]ecker outside the casino where we took these photos in the neon light. Thanks for everything Jessica!

Secret wedding

About a month ago my best friend called me and asked if I wanted to take some photos of her and her boyfriend this weekend because they are expecting their first child. Of course I said yes, I do. Today I found out I wasn't the only one saying "I do" - they secretly got married yesterday at a very private wedding all by themselves!

Teno and I love you both and we wish you all the best! We are also quite proud the two of you met at our place 5 years ago!

Even if I spend far to much time on the internet it gives me a lot of new ideas and inspiration both for my personal life and when it comes to my business. Late last night I read a really wonderful love story from real life written by the incredible photographer Jasmine Star (she is not only a talented photographer but a very good writer as well!) and I thought I should share a photo from my personal life with you also.

On our two year wedding anniversary Teno and I went to the same small beach where we got married in 2005. Of course we wanted to take some photos but as we had forgot the tripod and we were all alone with only a 100mm lens on a beach with nothing high to put the camera on we had to be creative... I admit the angle is a bit odd but that's what happens when you have to huddle up to get within the photo when putting the camera on a pretty small stone!
