Evening winter wedding shot

One of my favourite photos from a snowy winter wedding!

Diamonds and sapphires

If you know me or if you have followed my work for some time, you should have understood by now I really love small, expensive and glittering objects! These fabulous rings with diamonds and sapphires in white gold belongs to Johanna and Emil who got married in 2008 and they were made by Älvans Guldatelje.

Sophisticated lace

I am not only passionate about taking photos but I also just love a lot a the things that comes with a wedding - gorgeous dresses, beautiful flowers and, not to forget, sparkling jewelery! Looking at some "old" photos (ehh... from September 2008) of couples I haven't had the time to create full wedding portfolios for on my website I found these photos of Jessica who got married in a beautiful lace dress.

Orange and pink

Nowadays I mostly shoot portrait sessions (both weddings and other) but sometimes I pick up my camera just to create a memory of my own.

My husband's favourite colour - without doubt! - is orange and that's why I bought him these flowers for Valentine's day about a week ago.

But honestly, I am not really that into orange in any form (of course except for as the colour of the sun just before sunset...) so sometimes I buy other colourful flowers to brighten up our living room table. Pink tulips always make me happy!

Creative portraits of the bride

Working late with photos from the wedding 10 days ago I just have to show you these portraits. I got the reflections by shooting through a lamp!

Ice wedding with Anna at SmallpigArt

Yesterday I did not only have a wedding portrait session on my own, but I also accompanied my friend and very talented photographer Anna at SmallpigArt to a fantastic portrait session. The first stop was at the Ice Bar and then we went to Karlbergs slott (yes, the second time for me that day - see previous post!). Here you can see Anna in action!

Valentine's day wedding with red roses

They met on Valentine's day five years ago and today they tied the knot at Karlbergs slott. The air was cold but their hearts were certainly filled with love and warmth.

The bride and groom have asked for discretion why I only show you some details.

Pernilla and Gustaf - part 2

I promised to show you more photos from yesterday's wedding and there are certainly many goodies to chose from! Here are some of them!

For the first time I used the new Canon 5D Mark II and I just love it! I still haven't got my own camera so I have to send special thanks to Björn! Also, thanks Mattz for helping me during the day!

Pernilla and Gustaf - part 1

When I woke up this morning (well, by now it was yesterday 7 February...) I realized today's weather could be summarized in three words... fog, fog and fog, and while driving home tonight I really had to drive slowly to see the where the road was! But, who cares - Pernilla's and Gustaf's wedding couldn't have been more inspiring and I hope their love and passion for each other will set the standard for all of my booked weddings this year!

Tomorrow (or maybe the day after...) I will show you more photos here on the blog but for now I only show you a few favourites. Congratulations Pernilla and Gustaf!

Previously unpublished photos of Pernilla

Some time ago I realized I really had to buy some new hard drives and while filing some of 2008' photo sessions for long time storage I found these goodies of absolutely gorgeous Pernilla! You might have seen some photos of her already, but these haven't been published before. I have said it before and I can say it again... with totally unexperienced amateur models (!) like Pernilla there is nothing more a photographer can ask for!

October wedding - Katta & Jim

Katta and Jim got married in October and even though they decided really fast which photo they wanted for their thank you card, it isn't until now they have made up their minds about the wedding album. Sometimes it's hard when you have so many photos to chose from! I think they have made a perfect selection and I want to show you what I am working with right now.

Don't you think Katta has a beautiful hair piece? She has excellent taste and at our pre booking consultation she saw my own wedding photos and asked where I had bought my tiara - in the end she borrowed mine for her wedding!

Fair at Nacka Factory

The wedding fair Alltombröllopsmässan at Nacka Factory this weekend was a great success and it was very inspiring to meet both couples that already have booked me for 2009, couples that have tried to book me just to find out I was already engaged their wedding day and couples that talked to me for the first time about their wedding plans.

My very talented photographer colleague Sandra at Birgersdotter and I had decided to have our show cases located next to each other and we got a lot of visitors!

The floral designer Fröken Knopp had made a very beautiful bouquet and a table decoration for us which got praised by many of our visitors! Many thanks Fröken Knopp!

These absolutely fabulous pieces of jewellery by Thomas Berg at Sörsand caught my eye instantly and I just had to ask if I could take a closer look! I think I need to talk to my husband about the necessity to buy his wife a to-die-for-gift at least once in a life time...!

The dresses below are designed by Nahrin at Milagro and I just love the collar! I wasn't familiar with this designer before the fair but I think she is worth some extra attention.

And finally, some photos from the champagne bar and the wedding fashion shows.

Boudoir shots on the beach!

I really don't have much to say about these photos because I am absolutely stunned about how this girl transformed from being asking a lot of questions about whether she dared to do it or not and asking if she could bring along a friend to the set, to a perfectly relaxed and gorgeous woman looking as if she had done nothing but working in front of the camera! Thanks a lot for allowing me to publish some of the photos here on my blog!

I shoot most boudoir sessions (UnderBara) indoors but these photos definately prove that going for an outdoor session could be terrific.

My own jeweller and my own wedding ring

Before christmas I visited the jeweller from which my husband and I bought our wedding rings and today I got an e-mail from him in which he congratulated me to my web site and my blog and wished me good luck with the up coming bridal fair at Nacka Factory which I will participate in this weekend.

When I and Teno got married in July 2005 we were particular interested in chosing an excellent wedding photographer (of course!) but we also were very fastidious about finding a high quality and service minded jeweller, and when we met Tom at Vasastans Guldsmedja we knew we had come to the right place. When I read the e-mail from Tom tonight I got inspired and thought I should take some detail shots of my own wedding ring which we designed ourself and had Tom and his colleagues made for us. Accordingly, I picked up my camera and my macro lens and started to experiment in the kitchen where we have spotlights. Also, I used a veeeery complicated and professional piece of equipment... ehh...or not... a small flashlight!

Preview - a beautiful girl and a sandy beach!

Yesterday I mentioned some photos of a different character than the portraits I showed you then and here is a sneak preview. These photos show how beautiful, sizzling and sensual yet tasty the result can be even if you - like this girl - never have stood in front of a camera before! I promise she (and her beloved) will get a private photo gallery to chose from which is really something to look forward to!
