Golden perfection at Grand Hôtel and Storkyrkan

When I left Viktoria and Christoffer last night I knew I had plenty of greats shots on my memory cards and I simply can't chose just one or two to post as a sneak preview as I said to the newly weds that I would. Therefore this preview post (more will come later!) show you both Mr & Mrs Malmer and some details from their gorgeous wedding day! I promise the rest of the photos are worth waiting for! Sneak peak No. 2 from Krägga Herrgård

I KNOW I should be doing other things right now (working with album design and layouts) but I suddenly got curious and had to look at the result from one of my two weddings 14 August. This is NOT the real blog post (it will come!) but I want to share these favourites with you!

Hallelujah - Katarina & Fredrik are married !

I have been to many, many weddings by now but I don't think I ever have heard such heavenly music as yesterday at the chapel at Ulriksdal castle! Unfortunately I forgot to write down the names of the singers but I can say that it was the best version of the song Hallelujah ever performed! But of course... it also was the most beautiful chapel, very nice guests, a cool car for the bride and groom to ride in, old details (the ribbon wrapped around the bouquet and the purse were worn by the bride's grand mother at her wedding ages ago), the best venue with very photo friendly surroundings (Såstaholm Gård) and of course the perfect bride and groom! Katarina and Fredrik, you are great!

Wedding dresses from Zelini

A few weeks ago I got an e-mail from one of my former clients Josefine and she told me that she recently has opended a new store for custom made wedding dresses, titanium rings and other accessories! Today I passed by the store at Torsgatan 36 in Stockholm (close to S:t Eriksplan) and had to take a few photos to show you and tell you the news. The store is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 17.30-19.00 and Saturdays 11.00-16.00 and you can also visit the internet shop at www.zelini.se.

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Tärndal!

Happiness, warmth, emotions and pure style are words which well describe Jenny and Christer, now known as Mr and Mrs Tärndal. I will post more photos of both this beautiful couple and the brides and grooms from Friday's weddings, but as I have a lot of post processing to do from previous weddings (I am drowning in work this time of the year) I just show you a sneak preview for now. Raindrops of happiness X 2

Friday 14 August was a busy yet very fantastic day and I got to photograph four persons very much in love. They came in pairs of course as I was booked for two weddings! Before I leave for today's wedding I want to share some goodies from yesterday!

Sara and Pejman - wedding couple no. 2 - had their civil wedding ceremony at Ekotemplet in Hagaparken and after a very rainy start to the portrait session the sky cleared just in time for a beautifully lit wedding in the evening sun. Don't they look fantastic!?

I headed to Krägga Herrgård for the first wedding of the day and I don't think anyone could miss that it really was Louise' and Saman's day even though it started to rain during the outdoor ceremony. But who cares, it was a perfect day anyway and suddenly in started to rain candy instead! Watch out for the hard ones :-)!

Mingyu & Mikael - love on the red carpet

On one of the hottest days this summer it was time for me to photograph Mingyu's (Ana's) and Mikael's wedding. I had great expectations and it turned out to be just the perfect day for a wedding photographer - a very nice and beautiful couple, a magnificent church, glorious weather and a four meter long veil. The ceremony was held in S:t Matteus church and the dinner at Näsby castle in Täby. Ana and Mikael, I wish I could tell you in Chinese how much I enjoyed the day and wish all the best to you and your families, but I can't so you have to tell them from me! Love Linda
